This video features Sogyal Rinpoche “hot off the press” from his Easter Retreat at Haileybury College in the UK. At his playfully provocative, incredibly pithy and insightful best, he is teaching children and adults the key points of meditation practice. Best would be to find your cushion and then press play, but you do not want to miss this one!

By accident first the sound did not work, so I saw a very dynamic Rinpoche. Still, in all excentric gestures, somehow a stable basis remains.
In a second attempt, the image got stuck but I could hear a perfect teaching on being undistracted, not to move or grasp. Isn't that amazing: this teaching for the children adresses all of us on many levels, you can watch it over again and grow old and wise with it.
Rinpoche shows us how to get in touch with children while being genuine at the same time. And that is exactly what children need, they always sense and value authenticity.
I'll watch it again to see how wonderfully he does it!
I completely echo Wim's comments above.
Having just returned from the retreat, where although I did not attend all of the sessions, I am very grateful to have been present at this amazing and priceless teachingx
Rinpoche's teachings for the children are always those that resonate most powerfully with my own inner child(ren!), so it's such a blessing to be able to receive this healing over and over again - because some of us need it x
Added to which this is the most amazing and direct demonstration of meditation embodied in Rinpoche, which could be the only instruction one ever needed.
Thank you Rinpoche - you are very precious for endlessly showing us x
